A Suite with a View + Wine, hotel in Mount Airy

Featuring a bar, A Suite with a View + Wine offers accommodations in Mount Airy. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking, and free Wifi.

Room with a view failed to get me access in time for my stay. I drove to the property, absolutely out of town. No amenities anywhere near it. Dark gravel road to the property. The owners failed to accommodate me and didn't refund the money paid. They won't be in business long. I wouldn't book the facility for fear of loosing deposites. Please read other reviews for this property. They are less than favorable. I dealt directly with Melissa the owner and she failed miserably.

We visited Mayberry/Mt Airy because my significant other is a huge Andy Griffith fan. We enjoyed seeing the sites. Town is a very friendly and beautiful place! Not too much to do so it was perfect for a romantic getaway weekend for two.

In all of my 40 years, I can honestly say that Mt. Airy was in the top 3 most enjoyable vacations that I have ever been on! The town was absolutely beautiful, the people were so friendly, and welcoming. The Andy Griffith Car Tour was so fun! Our tour guide was simply amazing! He is from Mt. Airy, so he knew all the history of Mt. Airy. We ate at the Rusty Rooster for brunch. The food was awesome, and the service was even better! We ate dinner at Aunt Bee's BBQ. It was so yummy! My husband enjoyed the cigar shop downtown Mt. Airy, as I made my way throughout the many shops. Just a beautiful vacation!!

The squad car tour was amazing.

The squad car tour was amazing. So much interesting info about Andy and his home town. Our guide, Mark, made the tour exceptional with his quotes and quips of The Andy Griffith Show program having used many business and street names of Mt. Airy where Andy grew up. Who knew that there is a quarry there that can be seen from space.

    We are Andy Griffith fans.

We are Andy Griffith fans. We loved learning more about him and getting the Mayberry feel. The town is a quaint small town. Very friendly. We toured the museum. Our favorite experience was taking a tour in the cop car. We ate at the local restaurants. No chain restaurants. Prices very reasonable. Homestyle cooking at its best.

The facility appeared to be of mid-1960s vintage and is a typical single-floor motel design of that era. The room was clean and comfortable. Some of the fixtures were outdated. The toilet roll holder was broken (it was reported upon checkout). The sprayed wall texture was sloppily done and even coated the AC power cord. The breakfast offerings were minimal and pre-packaged. The Wi-Fi was good. Overall, this place is average and is recommended for an affordable one-night stay.

This is a basic no-frills hotel. I stay there every time I drive to/from Florida/NYC, it is the exact halfway point. Although I call it "basic no frills"; they do offer breakfast. The people that work here are friendly and accommodating The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. It is an older motel but extremely well cared for and CLEAN! It is the perfect place for an overnight stay when driving through I-77 (easy off and on) and the price is right!

Close to everything!!! Many restaurants to chose from-BBQ-Coachs-Seafood-Aunt Beas-McDonalds literally right near by plus Dollar General in the parking lot for things you may have forgotten and drinks/snacks. Extremely quiet--exceptionally clean room-I would say by far better than any fancy hotel we've stayed at. Having hot water was great!

I slept amazing both nights! Quiet hotel, didn't even hear other people pull in after we had settled in for the night. Staff was super friendly. We generally stay at a different hotel when we come to my daughter's, but we'll be switching to the Bryson.

Close to downtown Mount Airy. We were traveling with multi generations and were able to come back to the house to rest when needed. Enjoyed the books and games with the Mayberry theme. Becky was helpful and gave great recommendations for places to eat.

Nothing. They are not 24 hours. Don’t bother booking online bc when you get to the inn, no one would come to the door or answer after ringing buzzer and calling the location. Had to find a different hotel
